Gulf International Bank (GIB) was established in 1976 with its headquarters located in Manama, Bahrain. GIB has branches in London, New York, Abu Dhabi, Dhahran, Riyadh, and Jeddah with a representative office in Dubai. The Saudi International Bank merged with this UK branch in 2000 and GIB was licensed to become a local bank in Saudi Arabia in 2007.

In addition, the company offers asset and fund management services to Middle East semi-governmental institutions and European financial institutions.
